Questions about Product

What types of Gel and Acrylic products do you use?

I use HEMA free polishes, gels, and acrylics. Many of my products are bought from local Australian suppliers from reputable brands. 

I have a passion for Australian, Japanese, and Korean products which are high quality and do not use those known harmful chemicals. 

How many colours do you have?

I have hundreds! If you're like me and you feel overwhelmed by choices and swatch books/sticks let me know what you're feeling. A purple? Warm, cool, or neutral? I will narrow down my stock and reduce the choice to something more manageable.

I am, working on making a digital swatch gallery which will have all of my range to help you choose and peruse at your leisure.

I think I might be allergic, what do I do?

If you suspect an allergy to product, please contact me immediately for removal advice if relevant and see a GP for treatment/diagnosis. If you are about to have a booking with me, please let me know so I can discuss the options for your service. I will be honest if I cannot provide your service.

Allergy to gel products often seen as contact dermatitis can be very uncomfortable. However, these allergies can also affect dental treatments and surgeries. If you are diagnosed with an allergy to gel products you may need to add this information to your medical files to prevent harm with any other related services. Your specialist will be able to guide you on this and what else needs awareness.

Are your cuticle oils nut free?

My cuticle oils do not contain peanut, or almond. However, they do contain Argan which is a type of nut. Many people who are allergic to tree nuts or nuts often do not react to Argan oils. However, some people do. Please test this out at your own risk OR reach out to me and I can mix a custom batch minus the Argan oil. I have all the SDS and ingredients for my products and will happily forward you these if needed.

Questions about Policy

What is your deposit/booking fee for? Does it come off my service?

I request a deposit/booking fee of 50% before your booking. This protects my business should you cancel last minute (<24hrs) or no show your appointment. I am unlikely to replace your session <24 hours and this deposit protects the loss to my business should this occur. Yes, the funds are removed from your final charge should you attend the booking as scheduled. The money can also move to a rescheduled session should you request one within reasonable time.

When is the deposit/booking fee required?

At least 1 week prior to your appointment. If you do not pay it your appointment will be cancelled. If you need accommodations, please reach out to me, I am human as well and will happily negotiate.

Can I pay my session in full instead?
Yes, you may. In this instance should you cancel (<24hrs) or no show your appointment you will have the option of using the 50% extra to rebook or refund to you. The remaining 50% will be forfeit as per my booking fee policy above.

Help! My nail broke off!

Oh no! Please send me photos of the nail as soon as possible. Do not attempt to glue a nail back on or peel any pieces off. Contact me so I can advise you on the best solution.

 

Photos are a must. From a photo I can see if there is any trauma to the nail (pulled/peeled off from an accident or yourself), or if the issue is due to my application. It happens and even the best techs sometimes make mistakes. If the break is related to my service, I will happily repair the nail/s for free within 3 days of the original application. If the break is not due to my application, I charge a repair fee of $10 per nail + art fees in some cases. If the damage is a combination of fault with my application or your lifestyle/accident I will only charge repair fees on applicable nails.

Repairs will be as per the original nail style unless requested. Art fees on repairs will be quoted at a discounted rate. French and basic art is included in the standard repair fee.

What is your refund policy on store products?

I am able to refund any faulty, or unopened products within 30 days of delivery. As this is a considered a beauty/health product, I cannot refund opened products due to a change of mind.
